History:
The institute is a privately funded think-tank specializing in the analysis and reporting of trends of paranormal criminals and terrorists worldwide. The institute and its annual Arrington Report are highly respected by Orion, the FSS and Scotland Yard.
Secret History:
The Arrington Institute is secretly funded by the U.S. National Security Agency. The institute releases two versions of its annual report each year. The first is for public consumption and the second is only shared with Orion, the FSS and Scotland Yard.
Paranormal Community:
The Arrington Institute is one of the most trusted sources for information on the paranormal criminals and terrorists. Its annual report is used as a major factor in the assignment of Orion support units around the world. The FSS disseminates the Arrington Report to all federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in the United States as well as Radley-Gold chartered groups.
Paranormal Community - Secrets:
From 1980 to 1995, the Arrington Institute had a group of field operatives with paranormal abilities produced by Project: Avenger. These agents performed missions in support of Orion and the FSS as well as missions against paranormal criminal and terrorists based outside of the United States. The unit was disbanded after a failed mission.
