History:
Winslow founded the Institute with a grant from the Radley Foundation. It was setup as a not-for-profit research corporation to study the paranormal or "super" psyche. The Institute provides counseling services for members of Radley-Gold groups and victims of paranormal involved crimes. The Institute also studies and profiles paranormal criminals and terrorists for the FSS. This three-prong strategy of studying "good guys," "bad guys," and victims allows the Institute to not only study paranormals but also their impact on society as a whole.
Paranormal Community:
The Winslow Institute is the leading authority in the field of paranormal psychology. It has at least one staff member at every Radley-Gold group headquarters. The Institute also has an agreement with the FSS that allows them to maintain a research group at the Blanco Mesa Ultra Security Penitentiary to study and counsel the inmates. The Institute also consults with FSS investigators to build profiles on newly encountered paranormal criminals and terrorists. The Institute was recently awarded a grant to study the impact of paranormals on society.
