Paranormal Community:
Arion is the son of Russian immigrants. He discovered his paranormal abilities to control light when he was twelve. After telling his parents of his abilities, they advised Mikal to keep them secret. Thereafter, Mikal took a great interest in paranormals and their role in society. Mikal abided by his parents' wishes to keep his abilities secret throughout his high school and early college years. He revealed them as a tactic during a debate while attending Harvard University's JFK School of Government. With in a few weeks of revealing his abilities, Mikal's life changed drastically. He was expelled from Harvard as the incident during the debate was viewed as a threat against the other student. His parent's disappeared and their house was burned down. Two weeks later, his mother's body was found outside of St Louis. The coroner's report listed the cause of death as radiation poisoning. Mikal went into hiding. He returned with a vengeance six months later as the head of the Black Arion Movement.
